I saw this work last year. I thought of it because I was also considering using lines to indicate a space instating of building a real one.
The setting is similar to my work.
Interesting angle to emphasise the amount and size of the nails. 
Similar interaction. I actually thought about using nails on other objects but I still just wanted to photograph that space to show I was constrained.
